What you get

Own the listing

Hours, deals, menu items — edited live. Wrong info shouldn't send a party of six next door at 6:45.

Real-time numbers

How many drinkers opened your page tonight. How many tapped Walk it. How many set a reminder. Nightly digest.

Last-minute deals

Push a special at 4pm — it lands in the current edition by 4:01. Empty barback shift turns into a packed five-thirty.

Be the headline

Featured placement in the Index and on the Map when you opt into a Spotlight night.

Two ways to be listed

VerifiedFree, forever
  • Edit your hours, deals, and menu in real time
  • Respond to corrections from readers
  • See nightly traffic, walk-throughs, and reminders set

Spotlight launches in the next cohort. Waitlist venues get six months at the day-one rate when it goes live.

From the editor

“The bar that catches the 5:43 tap is the bar that fills the table at 6:10. Tonight is built around the fifteen minutes between deciding and walking in. We want your venue in that window.”— The Editor, Vol XVII

How claiming works

  1. Submit a claim with your venue's contact info and your role.
  2. We verify by hand — usually 1–2 business days. We cross-check your contact info against the venue's public listing.
  3. You get a private link to your management page. Edit hours, deals, pull quote, and menu items. Saves are live.
  4. Your listing shows ★ VERIFIED in the app so readers know the deals are confirmed by the venue.

FAQ

How long does verification take?

Usually 1–2 business days. We cross-check the business email or phone you provide against your venue's public listing. Faster if you use an email on the venue's own domain.

Do I have to pay to be listed?

No. Every venue we discover near our readers gets an automatic listing — claiming just lets you control it. Verified is free and always will be.

What if my venue is already in the app?

It probably is. We scan public sources to extract happy-hour windows automatically. Some of it's right, some of it's stale — claiming is how you set the record straight. Once you save your first edit, the auto-extractor stops touching your listing.

What if a competitor claims my venue?

Verification matches a working business email or phone tied to the venue on Google or its own site. Disputes go to whoever can prove operational control of the door.

How is this different from Yelp or Resy?

Tonight is built for one decision: where to drink in the next two hours. Readers open it at 5pm, not at 5pm Wednesday for Saturday. Your listing isn't competing with brunch reservations — it's competing with three other bars on the same block, right now.

Ready to claim?

Takes about two minutes. We'll reply within two business days.
